Tonight the brothers and I are taking her out to dinner. A place that I try to visit every time I come home. Whitlow's Forerunner Restaurant. They have really good perch and walleye dinner plates. I am really looking forward to that.
We just got home from going out to a club called the Eagles. She likes to go and have a few drinks and do something called 'pull tabs'. It's sort of like a slot machine, I guess; you buy a card and pull back the tabs and if you get a certain number of pictures, then you win money. Mom wasn't going to go, because I'm here and she pretty much just goes to get out of her apartment and have someone to talk to. Well, I told her I'd go with her. I mean, it's her birthday, I'll do it with her.
She spent roughly $25 on these pull tabs and won roughly $210 so I think she did pretty good today. :)
