Anyway, after planting some of the pasture garden (we put in 300 feet of pvc water line a couple days ago so we'll have water out there), I took some pictures to share with you to show you more spring.
Took these with my phone, so sorry for the fogginess.
Lots of these around. I think they are wild peas, or field peas, or some such?

Blogger is being a brat.
And there are a lot of these little wild flowers around, too.

And wild daisies?

And the blackberries are blooming like crazy, too.

And we have dozens of bumble bees around. No pictures because they're too fast. I'm glad they aren't vicious. They do fly by my head sometimes; but mostly they just seem to fly around and sometimes have disagreements with each other.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! ♥
According to weather lore you will have one more colder time and spring will be in full swing. We'll see if you have a "blackberry winter".
ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful there Linda! :)
ReplyDeleteWe have teeny -tiny wildflowers too, a great start to spring. I got a field guide with full color plates so I could walk around and try to identify them.
ReplyDeleteAh spring. It is only a hope that it will someday arrive. We still have snow on the ground, and below freezing temps.
ReplyDeleteBut I keep up the hope.
It does look Springish, so pretty. I wonder if those peas are edible? We are still waiting for Spring, it's taking it's sweet time again this year but at least it's not cold out or too rainy. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteWe're going through another couple of weeks of coolness. Rain today. If bumble bees were as aggressive as hornets or yellow jackets...
ReplyDeleteDocile little critters that made a wiffle ball bat fun to have. Boys will be boys.
Looking forward to seeing the garden.
