I having a terrible time with blogger tonight. we had wasps build a nest in the wall of our bedroom closet. they got in through a teeny tiny hole in the roof and made a condo city in there. gah, it was horrible. Anyway, good luck to hubby, i've had the injections 4 times now and it's kinda hit or miss on how well it works.
The video looks fine. That was a lot of bees!Good luck with the injections.
Were they regular honey bees? Look up beekeepers and have their number on hand in case they do it again. Lots of them will gladly come out and remove a swarm. I hope the shots improve his back!
Is it wasps or bees? If wasps no worries about killing them, they're assholes.

Tell Hubby I wish him luck with the shots. I really hope those are wasps and not honey bees, there are so many bee people available that would love to take a wild swarm off your hands.
Honey Bee people are good at collecting a swarm...but this seems like a small off shoot swarm. I hope they were wasps..I hate them and their stings hurt like all get out:(
Good grief! The bees! I'm glad I found your blog. I enjoyed reading about making the bread and butter pickles. I want to make pickles, but a little afraid to try. Yours look really good!
Wow! Glad the spray helped Linda! I have a wasp problem here too, will try the Black Flag, thanks!!
Linda, I am thankful you weren't outside during the swarm, but I am with you with being nervous about going into areas where a vibration or sound could set them to buzzing around.A couple of months ago, we discovered a massive beehive near our residential area and I thought Sgt. Dave was going to get himself killed by trying to harvest some of the dripping honey comb that had fallen. I don't know where the bees moved to because the hive fell with the tree that came down in a storm, but I was shocked that we had been walking next to that hive on so many hikes, yet we didn't know that beehive was there.Get several cans of Black Flag and keep them handy in each room...just in case. Lana :-)
Look for a bee person...they are great about coming a getting the swarm!Lindahttp://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com
