Another bit about Saturday

So after the flea market, he decided to go to Lafayette. We had lunch at Gator Cove Seafood Restaurant.





Gator Cove is a restaurant we discovered last year. We hadn't eaten there much, because they used to be closed on Saturdays for lunch. But no more!
Hubby had the shrimp basket; but I had the crawfish. There's been talk on the radio and tv that the season is almost over (!) as the farmers switch their crawfish ponds over to rice.


Some of the biggest and best crawfish of this season! Yum! I can definitely recommend Gator Cove for crawfish or shrimp. Or try something else on the menu. :)

    Your lunches look delicious!! I was just in Kentucky, and I was talking about crawfish with my brother from Florida, when there was a picture of them in the elevator with the caption "cra-cra." We thought that was funny... But it's been a long time since we both enjoyed them, and so we are way past due!!
