A good one from the local AG newsletter
Yesterday, Louisiana topsoil moisture was plus 65%. Needless to say, we have a lot of standing water yet on the property. We even ended up with water under the house. Pier and beam construction can do that. I hope it dries up quickly! The next few days are supposed to be sunny and no rain, so hopefully all the wet can work its way to the bayou across the street.
You all be safe and God bless.
P.S. Edited when I found out I read it wrong. :)

What is the topsoil moisture content during a 'normal' summer?
ReplyDeleteDry out and get ready for a nice summer.
Ha. I actually misread it. It is 65% surplus. Explains our standing water, I guess.
DeleteAnd thank you, LL.
I saw your birthday wishes to me on Rev. Paul's blog. I just wanted to say thank you. That was nice.
