Yesterday's takeout dinner

It's crawfish season. Covid-19 is conspiring to ruin what was set to be a great crawfish season.
So, we decided to support one of our local restaurants and get takeout.
I know you've all seen this before, so if you don't want to be bored, don't look. ;-)

It was as good as it looks. :-)

Be safe and God bless.

  1. Well, you know me and crawfish, but I'm glad you got to enjoy your favorite thing ever :-)

  2. The takeout phenomena is interesting to me Linda. I wonder, after this is all over, that it becomes the new normal?

    1. We've often done takeout for pizza or Popeye's chicken, TB.

But for something like this, or Oriental, or even a steak cooked like we can't, We prefer to eat out. I miss eating out.
Especially when traveling. Can't justify takeout when the city is two hours away. Haha.

Hopefully we can one day soon!

  5. Looks pretty darn yummy!
In the midst of all the bare shelves at the big box stores, I have discovered a European market and bakery not that far from me. Oh my, their Russian rye bread, and some kind of fried bread stuffed with chicken, cabbage, and mashed potatoes are great.

    1. That is sweet, Brig! Sounds good.

We are about 20 miles from the nearest bigger town. A university and gas station with a kitchen of sorts is closest to us. :-)
