I honestly believe someone who does not cook must have designed this kitchen...
Stove, obviously.
Sink.
Distance from one to the other.
I am still thankful though. Don't get me wrong, just wondering how much water I will be spilling. 😛
You all be safe and God bless.
Our kitchen is similarly laid out. Don't fill your pans too full. :-)
ReplyDeleteI will do my best to remember that. And probably keep a pitcher nearby. :)
DeleteIt's a nice, new, kitchen.
ReplyDeleteThank you, LL. :)
DeleteIt is a nice, new kitchen. Also, probably made for the designer's convenience, not the users's.
ReplyDeleteThank you, TB. And yes. :)
DeleteDitto on designer's lack of concern. But at least you're in the new place, so there's that. :)
ReplyDeleteAmen, Reverend. Praising God and hoping for some hot water soon. :)
DeleteI will admit it is a very weird layout. I never thought about kitchen design other then most kitchens are just too darn big. My stove is right next to my sink. However, I would gladly kill for that sink. I lust after a farmhouse type sink and that's about the prettiest one I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteWhen we did the kitchen in the old farmhouse, the stove was right near the sink also. :)
DeleteWe wanted a single sink for washing big pans, but the builder said they couldn't get one but could get this one. So we said okay. :)
Sorry I'm late.
ReplyDeleteOur last layout had the stove in the island. Nice and close.
No problem Odie. Thanks for stopping by. :)
DeleteI think most "modern" kitchens are designed by people who don't really cook!
