Retired, housewife, mother of three.
Picking up the pieces after God decided the 145 year old farmhouse was no longer the house for us.
Praise God for His mercy and love!
Glad we didn't come into the property from the pasture gate. This turtle is laying eggs in one of the ruts. It rained most of the day today and made the ground soft enough, I guess.
We never have, TB. There are so many turtles in the bayou across the street. It's possible some armadillo may dig them up. We've occasionally seen birds dig them up. They don't get buried deeply like the sea turtles you see on TV. :) But we will probably delay the driveway expansion for a few months.
The turtles have to feel safe and secure to use your property to secure future generations. Well done.
ReplyDeleteWe do our best to watch out for them, anyway. Thanks, LL. :)
DeleteLinda, do you have to mark the space for these eggs? I would undoubtedly step on them given time.
