So Christmas day found us with crazy wet weather. Not as bad as Alabama or some others had; but we did get some hail.
And were pretty sure a tornado went North of us.
We had more rain today, too. I waited until today to take a couple of pictures.
I found this the day after Christmas. That is not what's left of a young tree, by the way. It's a branch from the oak tree.
But most of the water had dried up. Still, with Christmas and today, we have had a lot of rain. Wish I could send some North where it's needed, too.
Have a safe, enjoyable, last weekend of the old year!
I love the pics of the big old trees. Now, if I could only get pics of the house progress. Anything?
ReplyDeleteWonderful,wonderful water.
ReplyDeleteI think I would be tempted to carve that tall stump into a wonderful art piece. I have seen chain saw art but have never attempted it.
I'm glad you were spared any real damage, Linda. We've been getting some snow off and on for the past few days, which makes me happy. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're okay and I hope that you enjoy your weekend too!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are ok too. Hope you have a wonderful and safe 2013!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I know that's a lot of rain, we are being sloshed about as well, but the photos with the rain puddles (ponds)are actually beautiful! Such a pretty landscape. The oak tree branch in the ground is a bit scary!
ReplyDeleteTry to stay dry! At least our air-conditioning is not needed!

You are wet! It sure helps things grow and feel fresh though.
