Crazy storm last night.

This happened about a mile from our house. We were fortunate. We had no damage.

The pecan tree was completely shattered. The house behind it lost 2 windows to bark 'shrapnel' flying through them. There were pieces laying across the street and down to the barn, the farmer told us.
But fortunately no one was hurt.

Hope you all have a safe, blessed week. ♥

  1. Glad you came through it without damage! Crazy weather everywhere. We just had 101 mph winds out of the blue that turned into a tornado (St Louis) and just before, it had been wonderful weather. One tree down but no damage. Take care.

  2. 'tis the season. Run out there and get ya a hunk of that pecahn and make you a baseball bat. Burn 'Wonderboy' into it. (can you tell what I watched, again, last night?)

  3. At least it was the tree and not the house. Many houses have been lost to lightning strikes. Glad no one was hurt.

Also glad you guys are okay.
