went well.
Had about 50 people, not counting kids. Don't remember all the names, but everyone seemed to have a good time.
A few pictures.
The wading pool was a big hit.
The hay ride was a big hit, too.
Especially when they found a turtle in the pasture.
Some of them saw an alligator in the bayou across the street, too; but didn't get a picture of that.
We managed to have a crawfish boil. About 50 pounds over a couple of hours.
Watermelon is always a hit with kids.
No matter how it's eaten. :-)
One family member is an accomplished wood carver.
This isn't everyone, but this is as many as wanted their picture taken.
Seventeen days until my husband's surgery.
We have a couple of families of swallows nesting in our chimneys. We can hear them talking every now and then.
Have a wonderful week! ♥
Morning Sis,
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming the reunion was at your place as I seem to recognize the big tree in the group pic. I'm also assuming it was your husbands side since I don't recognize anyone, and I wasn't invited. :-)
And I'm also assuming you took the pics, since I don't see you in any.
But it looks like a good time was had by all.
Real nice! The kids look like they are having a ball and that's all that matters.
