About Me

Retired, housewife, mother of three. Picking up the pieces after God decided the 145 year old farmhouse was no longer the house for us. Praise God for His mercy and love!

Last of November

Yes, the house is still standing. Good workers are hard to find for some reason.

No, no home yet, for a multitude of reasons.

God is in control. God is great. God will continue to provide. I believe that.

You all be safe and God bless.

  1. My house in AZ went a year over construction time and cost over $100K over the max budget. I feel your pain.

Yet, you'll be proud of me in that the general contractor still lives, though he is a broken man. Karma ran over his dogma, LindaG.

    1. Not too bad, TB. First hard freeze is tonight. Praying God will watch over the RV tonight. We've done what we could to get ready.
      Stay warm, TB. :)

  3. Winter has just started showing its ugly head and I am already done with it. Can we just skip right over the rest and get to summer?

  4. While I'm a lover of "tiny homes", I'm not sure I could do an RV unless it was just me. Although, I will admit to being somewhat in love with my new friends RV he and his wife live in. It's really quite nice and not all that big.

I'm checking out a new contractor to do my bathrooms and I hope he's as good as think he may be. He advertised on the back of our Sunday bulletin and he looks like the the real deal. Check out his webpage: https://www.panhandlepro.com/ and let me know if you get the same good vibes I do.

    1. Well, to be fair we bought the RV for travel and not full time. ;-)
I wish your contractor was in our area. I'd call him.
      Good luck with your bathrooms!
