About Me

Thunderstorms have started

Please keep us in your prayers. God kept us safe before, and I am certain He will do so again; but I have to admit I'm a little bit scared.

You all be safe and God bless.

  1. Isn't the old saying "Lightening doesn't strike twice?" I'm sure that it's scientifically true.

  3. Linda, you inquired about how we fared in the aftermath of our 7.1 earthquake, 18 months ago. Every single subsequent tremor made us want to curl up into balls, or run screaming for the exits. Since I was trapped in the dark by the 'quake, I carried a flashlight in my pocket for 18 months. That's now, you say? Why, yes it is. The fear diminishes, but there's still some residual apprehension.

    1. I can only imagine, Reverend. I

would have preferred a hotel last night. While everyone else seemed to sleep well (Praise God, truly!), I prayed all night and listened to Gospel music on low from my cell phone.

God watched over us again and kept us safe.

I hope you are all doing better, Reverend. God bless. :-)

  4. Being scared is perfectly reasonable and not necessarily evidence of not enough faith in the Lord.

    1. I prayed for God to strengthen my faith, too. I understand, though and hope that's true.
      Thank you, AOW. :-)
