God works in mysterious ways.

 Son went out to the property today and found this.

Gas line is done now!

BUT they wouldn't start the water heater. There was no fresh air source for the combustion process, like louvers in the door.

I'm sorry, Lord. But what idiots! Gah!

Another step closer

 

Digging around the water line by hand.

Pex gas line.

This blue wire is $300 a spool, they said. And this wire will remind us where the gas line is, should we want to dig or anything. As you can see it's not a strait line.

But they can't finish before Monday, due to weather and prior commitments. So they duct taped the ends of the pipe (no pic, sorry) and will be back bright and early Monday, God willing. :)

The house

 Had a visitor last night.

We had rain; but praise God not what they were predicting.

Small update

 The VA put in the access ramp for my husband's wheelchair. Thought it would take them longer.

You can see the cheap steps the dealer provided.

The gas line is supposed to go in on Wednesday and Thursday. Got to double check on that though.

Because as you can see, we have a little rain in the forecast.

Then inspection. Then electricity. Then the dealer will finish his work.

Then we can move in. 

Please Lord. I am trying to be patient; but I wish His time was a little shorter.

More space

 Our new storage shed. We still have a few things in the house that can be salvaged. But we don't want to rent yet another conex. And it is starting to get critical that we get those items out.

  So we bought a new shed. Had to. 12x30. It will help.

  Hopefully the gas line will be installed by the middle of the month, then the dealer can finish the prep work on our home. Maybe. Finally.
